As long as primal leader/follower relationships continue, remedies achieved by revolutionaries-even if the term is extended to  include Donald Trump-only achieve short periods of disarray before hegemonic relationships resume, often with celebration and fanfare and a renewed sense of possibility.  All too soon however the underlying dynamic surfaces and the eternal revolutionary cycle continues.  This should not surprise us.  The notion of 'cycle' is intrinsic to the notion of revolution.
